THEORIES ABOUT SALVATION - CONCEPTS ABOUT THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT

THEORIES ABOUT SALVATION
Luciano Rogerio de Souza
For by grace are ye saved through faith (Spirit), and this not from yourselves (skills), it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8).

Before the fourth century AD, there was a belief that man developed an important role in saving / persuasion. After this date, when Philosophy put its tentacles about Theology, via Augustine of Hippo. Developed the concept that man has a key role in the salvation of the human being (another), that extended into the Middle Ages. But he lost his strength with the Protestant Reformation. This reform was raised with the belief that man has no important role in the conversion / salvation. Let's explain a little better this amendment. The philosophy has generated (after Augustine) the belief that skills like public speaking, rhetoric and eloquence, were important for actuation of the Holy Spirit at the time of persuasion / conversion human. Concept that was discarded (because before the bishop of Hippo was absent) with the Reformation of Martin Luther. However, today, we realize that this concept arises from the depths to enter and survive in the seminars, redeeming what God has already repudiated.

CONCEPTS ABOUT THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
Luciano Rogerio de Souza
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2.4).
The baptism of the Holy Spirit has undergone multiple changes over time. First, he thought, meant salvation. To be saved need to be baptized with the Spirit. Even today, some leaders and churches preserve this view is mistaken that this baptism salvation.
Then came the belief that baptism in the Spirit, was a kind of training, learning and speaking languages. And finally there was the consideration that he is given a coating by Jesus to workers and believers acting against the empire of darkness. Who knows in future he would not receive a new definition?
